With a vision to have Happy Empowered Children , Sarthak Foundation reaches out to the children of migrant labourers, daily wage earners and rag pick Read moreers. We focus on transforming their lives through education and skills through our project YELLOW ROOMS . We currently cater to 1000 children in Uttar Pradesh, India . We ensure:  No child in slums is left without education. Yellow Rooms (6 days a week, 7 hours a day) focuses on STEM, English language and life skills Work on gender inclusivity and sensitivity and workshops on gratitude/happiness/children's rights/gender Enrolment of out of school children into formal education Focus on improvement in learning levels: DIGITAL (Drive Insight to Gain Information from Technology at Low Cost) sessions Run children's PANCHayat (presided by 80% girls) Catalyse reduction in early marriages and child labour Ensure reduction in stress among children and the overall improvement of physical and mental well-being of children During COVID - 19, we have been:  Conducting online sessions of children on STEM, communication and life skills (Sarthak SkillShaala) Conducting daily classes for children through Telephone Bridge Distributing ration to 8415 daily wage earners Catering to physiological and psychological requirements of children in slums
