Programs

  • Climate Smart Agriculture

It has collaborated with local farmers to advance organic agricultural practices and the use of regenerative agriculture by Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). This has raised farmers' income significantly and instilled a sense of value in organic farming, encouraging them to become more entrepreneurial. Additionally, SwitchON has created Model Farms to highlight organic farming techniques.

  • Clean Energy

As an organization, we realized in 2008 that we needed to move away from fossil fuels and toward clean energy sources in order to reduce our reliance on them. We began endorsing solar pumps in 2013 as a competitive substitute for the diesel pumps that are widely used in rural India. We encountered the day-to-day difficulties that farmers experienced while working in the field.

Actually, the thing preventing small and marginal rural farmers from purchasing solar pumps was their lack of financial access. We adjusted our strategy to better meet the needs of the community in creating an ecosystem. This included finding financial and technological solutions, promoting adoption, scaling up solar pump technology, and moving toward decentralized renewable energy (DRE).

  • Environment and Climate Change

With programs, initiatives, and events, we encourage people in various fields, including children, youth, and citizens, to adopt a proactive approach to addressing climate change and other urgent environmental concerns. This is part of our Environment and Climate Change Vertical.

Air pollution and sustainable mobility are the two main categories under which Environment and Climate Change operate. Our industry's primary goal is to alter people's lifestyles and the way policies are implemented by raising awareness through various projects, events, and studies on campaigns related to sustainable mobility and air pollution.
