The organi Read morezation through its well- planned and comprehensive programs in  Livelihoods ,  Financial Literacy & Inclusion , and  Early Childhood Care & Education  is empowering most marginalized communities leading to improvement in their lives. Sukalyan Welfare Society was registered as a Society in March 2005 under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961 and later registered under 80(G) and 12A under the Income Tax Act, 1961 in January 2013.

    In response to this need, Sukalyan introduced a livelihood program focused on providing vocational training in tailoring skills. This initiative is followed by offering business ideas, marketing strategies, and support to start their own enterprises. Through hands-on assistance in product marketing, beneficiaries achieve financial independence. Presently, over 1000 women have benefited from this program, with the numbers steadily rising.
