Shri Kalyan Women Welfare Society is a voluntary organisation established with the aim of addressing the challenges faced by inhabitants living in geo Read moregraphically challenging districts of Rajasthan. Its focus is on providing free education, skill development, employment opportunities, and legal protection for people and children, while also promoting well-being, environmental awareness, and women's empowerment. Over the past two decades, it has been actively engaged in educational, environmental, employment, health, skill development, and rural empowerment initiatives in the Sikar and Nagaur districts of Rajasthan, India. The organisation operates through public donations, registration fees, motivational awards, and Government assistance. Registered under the Rajasthan Registration Act and recognized by the Income Tax Act of India, the society strives to achieve multiple objectives. These include promoting literacy through awakening programmes, ensuring the well-being of babies and citizens, offering free skill development training to various vulnerable groups, raising awareness about Government and non-government schemes, advocating for a clean environment, organising medical camps, and establishing educational and research centres. Its comprehensive approach aims to uplift the community by addressing education, skill development, health, and environmental needs while fostering awareness and empowerment.

Education Programme
The Shri Kalyan Women Welfare Society is deeply committed to various education programmes in Rajasthan's Sikar and Nagaur districts. Over the past 17 years, it has been actively involved in PMKVY Phase 1 and 2, offering training to students in courses like Retail Associate Training and other programmes. Additionally, the organisation has facilitated NDLM programs, LEARN & EARN SCHEME, and various vocational training sessions, such as beautician, computers, tailoring, mobile repair, and more. It has successfully trained a considerable number of rural youths and women, contributing to skill development and empowerment. The NGOs dedication extends further, as it annually distributes school supplies and supports registration campaigns in Government schools, alongside implementing various awakening programmes for the betterment of the community.

Environment Programme
Shri Kalyan Women Welfare Society is actively engaged in environmental initiatives, particularly tree plantation programmes in public spaces, government offices, and its own premises, with ongoing maintenance supported by public contributions. The organisation is committed to promoting sustainable practices by establishing biogas plants, Unnat Chulha (improved stoves), and free latrines. Through collaborative efforts with the DRDA department, it has successfully implemented 46 bio-gas plants and 183 Unnat Chulha across different areas. Its dedication to promoting hygiene and health in rural areas is evident in its support for latrine construction in households, providing training for NGO officers and masons in PCC (Pucca Ghar Yojana) programmes to aid in these efforts.

Skill Development Programme
Shri Kalyan Women Welfare Society actively empowers underprivileged groups through their "Learn & Earn Scheme" offering free skill development training. It has conducted diverse programmes, including computer training, beautician, tailoring, market management, English foundation, video-photography, typing, lab technician, mobile repairing, and waste cloth product development training. The society is a registered CSC with a VLE ID providing crucial services like Aadhar, Pan cards, passports, and bill payments to rural residents. It has also enrolled masons and tailors for RPL programmes, highlighting its commitment to comprehensive skill enhancement and empowerment.

Awareness & Health Camps Programme
Shri Kalyan Women Welfare Society actively engages in impactful programmes such as LPG safety awareness camps, blood donation drives, water preservation workshops, and children's rights awareness sessions. It also addresses tobacco hazards through exhibitions and holds annual events for World Yoga Day and Acupressure Camps. Through workshops, the Society dispels superstitions and promotes scientific thinking. It offers specialized medical camps providing free services and surgeries to rural communities. Additionally, it empowers women through legal awareness seminars, promoting knowledge about their rights.

Rural Development & Awakening Programmes
Shri Kalyan Women Welfare Society actively engages in rural development and awakening programmes, promoting unity through events like Community Harmony Week and Flag Day, celebrating World Women's Day, and advocating for initiatives such as the Clean Village-Clean India campaign and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. The organisation conducts skill development programmes, workshops, and seminars to empower rural women, widows, and the unemployed, fostering self-sufficiency and livelihood opportunities. It commemorates various awareness days, promoting health, education, and social responsibility, while also conducting workshops against early marriage and advocating for women's rights.
