Gubbara, the Foundation's walk-in centre, introduced groundbreaking assessments for high-risk newborns at Doon Hospital in Uttarakhand, marking a significant milestone in the state's history. As the lead agency, it trained medical and educational personnel and facilitated the establishment of District Early Intervention Centres (DEICs) statewide. This initiative enhanced the Government's capabilities and represented a crucial advancement in early identification and support accessibility for families with special children in rural districts.
