Increased emphasis is being placed on SHGs obtaining loans from the Federation at lower interest rates in order to lessen their reliance on banks and other microfinance institutions.
Resolving different problems at different levels. Problems at the SHG level are settled individually; SHG problems are submitted before Mahasanghas, while district-level problems are brought before the JJF. Women can now speak up about a variety of issues at the district and even higher levels.
