Education
Serves roughly sixty socially disadvantaged children from Bengaluru's slum cluster areas. Two local teachers and around five mentors supervise the activities at this Free Learning Center (FLC) in their separate communities.
Children in primary and high school, the majority of whom attend government schools, spend two hours a day at these after-school care centers (FLCs) in an effort to keep them off the streets. The teachers assist the kids with their homework during these times and help them achieve the academic standards anticipated for their particular grades. Their progress is reviewed with the teachers of each school.
Children are encouraged to participate in sports, cultural events, and quiz contests in addition to their academic studies. Parents and children can attend counselling sessions on community health and personal cleanliness. Workshops are offered on a regular basis to impart morals, ethics, and social responsibilities.
