Samskriti Foundation works to preserve the ancient traditional knowledge and cultural and scientific heritage of India. It achieves its objective by e Read morextensively researching ancient texts and scriptures and documenting, creating manuscripts, audio books, CDs and various interactive ways to disseminate the information. The organisation has established a subsidiary organisation - The Gautama Academy of Indian Intellectual Traditions (GAIIT), to provide an institutional avenue for pursuing the task of examining the foundational concepts laid down in ancient texts and creating an alternative system based on firmer foundations of knowledge. Further, it has established the Virtual Academy of Ancient Knowledge systems (VAAK), which is an independent academic unit which invites and involves specialists in various fields to support the ongoing research work. Additionally, the organisation has established Sri Ramanuja Vishva Vidya Prathistanam (SRVVP), which is an academic organisation dedicated to conducting extensive research work into the Visistadvaita philosophy and Srivaishnava tradition along with its inter-disciplinary, trans-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary dimensions to match the changing needs of modern times.
