The Centre for Advance Research and Development (CARD) is a non-governmental organisation, which undertakes research, evaluation, documentation, and p Read morerogramme implementation as its main activities. It is committed to advancing creative and action-oriented research for the benefit of people and the environment. It focuses on bringing development to underdeveloped areas and raising the level of living for disadvantaged communities. The organisation works together and aspires to forge long-term relations with other businesses. It serves as a facilitator, collaborating closely with local organisations and laying a focus on women's engagement. Its project execution and decision-making procedures are guided by in-depth data from experiments, analysis, and studies. CARD offers an opportunity to construct support networks for livelihoods through its multi-disciplinary way of working. CARD operates across five states in regions where the Gond tribal community makes up the majority of the population, which also comprises rich agricultural districts, disadvantaged areas, and degraded tribal areas with sizeable Bhil populations. While the organisation's initial focus was on supporting livelihoods, it has since broadened its focus to include other development activities, including the promotion of alternative energy sources, water and sanitation, health and nutrition, child development, and women's empowerment. In order to address various development difficulties, CARD has expanded its major areas of activity during the course of its fifteen-year history.
