The NITYA SEVA Association is dedicated to helping sick, needy, and underprivileged children in Bhopal, India, by providing them with the support they Read more need to live with dignity and build a better future. NITYA SEVA e.V., a non-profit organization founded by Claus D. von der Fink on June 13, 1998, has been caring for street children, slum dwellers, orphans, and sick children in Bhopal since 2000. The organization operates two children's homes in Bhopal. The first home, located in Chandbarh, opened on July 9, 2000, and the second, in Pipalner, began operations on August 3, 2004. Together, these homes provide a safe and nurturing environment for over 160 boys and girls. Key aspects of this project include: Safe Shelter: The children have a secure place to call home. Nutritious Meals: They receive three hot, nutritious meals a day, along with a school breakfast and an afternoon snack. Medical Care: The children have access to essential medical care. Hygiene Facilities: Sanitary facilities are provided to ensure daily personal hygiene. Education: All children attend school and receive additional tutoring, homework supervision, and English lessons. NITYA SEVA also operates an "in-house school" for older children who are new to education, preparing them for integration into the appropriate school grade. Vocational Training: We offer opportunities for vocational training and remedial courses. Some of our children even go on to study at universities. Emotional Support: We provide affection and care, giving children the chance for a brighter future and restoring their childhood and smiles. These efforts lead to increased self-esteem, stronger personalities, and a sense of responsibility. They enable the children to live dignified lives and, eventually, to start their own families, breaking free from the cycle of street life. Education and vocational training lay the foundation for their future independence, offering them a path to a better future.
