With a commitment to making its knowledge accessible, Digital Green has reached over 2.3 million of the world's poorest people, positively impacting their livelihoods and well-being.

Digital Green offers free, open-source software designed for secure data exchange. This versatile platform allows users to connect APIs and cloud applications with ease, utilizing pre-built or customized connectors. It empowers individuals and organisations to extract, share, and govern data directly, eliminating the need for third-party intermediaries. With a focus on data-centric solutions, Digital Green provides tools to discover who holds specific data, how to access it, and the associated usage policies. Users can seamlessly connect, transform, and route data while ensuring compliance, data integrity, and the creation of data-centric applications. It simplifies the process of managing data, making it a valuable resource for various applications.

By breaking down barriers at both the community and societal levels, Digital Green fosters healthier intra-household negotiations, provides digital tools for economic access, and supports women farmer groups, leadership, and extension worker recruitment. Through evidence-based learning and a focus on farmers, Digital Green strives to empower women in agriculture and promote gender equity, recognizing that inequality perpetuates poverty.

Digital Green empowers smallholder farmers to combat climate change threats by harnessing technology and grassroots partnerships. With 80% of Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa's food supply reliant on smallholders and a projected 25% crop yield decline by 2025 due to climate change, Digital Green equips extension providers to craft farmer-specific advisory messages. These messages adapt to local conditions, addressing resource constraints and enhancing land productivity while conserving natural resources. It focuses on regions heavily dependent on rain-fed farming, striving to provide farmers with climate-resilient practices, early warnings of pests and diseases, and actionable responses through platforms like FarmStack. This approach contributes to food security and environmental sustainability.

Digital Green's Emerging Innovations is a space where it explores new tools and inventive approaches to address complex challenges. While some initiatives may not take off, it embraces experimentation. Current developments include providing actionable weather forecasts in India, aiding groundnut farmers with specific advice, an Android app called Kisan Diary to empower farmers in managing their finances, video-based mobile courseware for frontline workers in agriculture and nutrition, and a mobile app-based logistics service to enhance the sale of farmers' produce. It also utilizes Interactive Voice Response (IVR) for direct contact with beneficiaries, a logistics service named Loop, and a feasibility study on satellite-based yield estimations. Additionally, it offers accessible platforms like VideoKheti, Farmerbook, and the Facebook game WonderVillage to engage audiences in rural development issues.
