Works with the vision of eliminating hunger and wastage of food by ensuring consistent availability of food to people in need. Surplus food collect Read moreed from restaurants and donations received in the form of food are distributed to the disadvantaged population through its body of volunteers. It serves multiple sections of the society including homeless persons, children from orphanages, people in night shelters, children in homes for abandoned children and patients from public hospitals. Through its educational initiative, Robin Hood Academy, it works for providing basic primary education to children without access to school education with the ultimate aim of enrolling them in a formal educational institution. Classes are held every weekend and follow a standardized curriculum to enable formalized learning. The academy has taught more than 1600 children with presence in 18 cities and more than 450 children are now enrolled in school. Through its efforts, it has been successful in serving more than 5 million people with active operations in 63 cities. Apart from India, it has active operations in 11 other countries including Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Mexico and Australia.
