Works with the vision of combining innovation and entrepreneurship to bring change into the lives of individuals belonging to marginalized sections of Read more the society. To achieve its objective, it provides support to early-stage, innovation-based, for-profit social enterprises and acts as an ecosystem enabler for these enterprises by providing them funds, networking opportunities and mentorship. Villgro primarily works in 3 core areas: Health, Agriculture and Climate Action. Its iPitch Initiative aims to provide investment support to selected unconventional social enterprises which aim to solve the problems faced by the Indian society in a scalable and profitable way. Selected social enterprises are selected to receive access to capital, incubation support, showcasing opportunities, and an opportunity to be featured in online media platforms. Since its inception, it has incubated over 300 organisations, provided INR 600 million+ seed fund, and impacted 20 million lives. It has also been replicating its model in Kenya, Vietnam, and Philippines.
