Makes use of innovative technology to monitor neonatal health and save lives of infants in areas suffering from lack of healthcare staff and widesprea Read mored ignorance among parents due to inadequate education or knowledge. This is achieved through innovative, low-cost, technology-driven products which monitor infant health and provide alerts in case the health markers reach alarming levels. This in turn ensures timely, life saving, corrective actions. The Bempu Hypothermia Lifesaving Device is their first product offering which monitors and issues audio-visual alerts in case of hypothermia in infants. Sustainability is one of their core values and profit earned from device sale is re-invested towards fulfillment of their mission. With active presence in 26 countries and 9 Indian states, they have protected more than 10,000 newborns till date including more than 1,000 in India through 150 centers. The aim is to mitigate largely preventable issues of infant mortality and long-term health concerns among newborn babies in under-served areas of the world. Bempu Health has developed other items and services in addition to the Hypothermia Alert Device to address problems with neonatal and newborn health. These comprise nutritional treatments, technologies for monitoring vital signs, and initiatives for educating and empowering healthcare professionals.Bempu Health works with healthcare organizations, non-governmental organizations, and governments to distribute and apply their solutions in areas where services are scarce. Bempu Health seeks to significantly impact neonatal and infant mortality rates as well as the general health and wellbeing of babies in developing regions by utilizing technology and research.

TempWatch
Bempu introduces the TempWatch, a pioneering bracelet designed to detect hypothermia early in newborns, addressing the critical issue of low body temperature in infants. Developed by a biomedical engineer from Stanford, the TempWatch aims to mitigate the risks associated with hypothermia, which often leads to hospital admissions and poses significant dangers to newborns. Given the challenges infants face in regulating their body temperature, coupled with the potential for infections and low blood sugar levels exacerbating the problem, preventing hypothermia is complex. The TempWatch utilises a medical-grade sensor to provide continuous temperature monitoring, signalling adequate warmth with a blue blink and issuing alerts with red flashes and sounds to prompt caregivers to take action if the baby becomes cold, thereby preventing harm.
