Works with the aim of delivering practical vocational training with effective skill transfer at low cost through its innovative simulators. The simula Read moretors use the principles of psychophysics for ensuring effective transfer of skills and retention of transferred skills. For imparting training, the senses of vision, hearing and touch (including force feedback) are used extensively to ensure maximum transfer of skill to the learner. The training is provided in the fields of welding and painting through three products Aura P, Aura X and Chroma X. Aura P is a portable welding simulator which provides training in multiple processes such as GMAW, SMAW, GTAW and Fusion and gives live, corrective feedback. Aura X is an advanced welding simulator which makes use of Extended Reality and provides training in multiple processes such as GMAW, SMAW and GTAW with filler rod. Chroma X is a painting simulator which provides training in Airless Spray Painting, Air Spray Painting and Electrostatic Spray Painting. Through their simulating devices, they have trained 25,000 students and saved Rs. 5 Crores in training costs. For their efforts, they have received the 3rd Prize at India Innovation Initiative 2012, Best Non Game Project at Unite Melbourne 2017 and first place at NSDC Innovation for Skill Challenge 2014.
