Purbachal Ananda Foundation, situated in West Bengal's Bankura District, provides long-term care and education to marginalized, homeless, and orphaned Read more children. Dedicated volunteers, both young and elderly, nurture these children with love and affection. The organization upholds human values and believes in empowering every child for the nation's betterment. Additionally, they operate shelters for urban homeless individuals, offering food, shelter, medical care, education, and life skills training in collaboration with local municipal corporations and the National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM). These projects are maintained with support from compassionate individuals across society. Over the past five years, Purbachal Ananda Foundation has collaborated with the Government of West Bengal to organize literacy camps, establish free coaching centers for at-risk children to prevent dropouts, and ensure economically disadvantaged children have access to school supplies and books. Through dedicated efforts, the foundation secured a one-acre lease from Gouriya Math in Purakanda village, Bankura district, West Bengal. On this land, Purbachal Ananda Foundation has constructed a home for children in need of care and protection. With limited resources primarily from individual well-wishers' donations, these underprivileged children now have essential shelter, education, and healthcare.
