SaveLIFE Foundation provides national policymaking support, grassroots interventions, and legal interventions in the areas of road crash prevention an Read mored post-crash response. The foundation collects and compiles information and data on road safety and emergency care. The data collected by the organisation is then reviewed and policy changes are suggested to improve accident prevention and post-accident response. Through petitions to the government, the foundation ensured the protection of Good Samaritans from legal harassment and secured a ban on trucks carrying protruding rods. Its efforts have been acknowledged in the form of various features and awards, including the Giving Pledge feature in 2015; Prince Michael International Road Safety Award, 2014; NGO of the Year award by Rockefeller Foundation, 2014; membership of Clinton Global Initiative, 2014; a Satyamev Jayate (TV Show) feature in 2014; voting membership of the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety in 2013; Ashoka Fellowship, 2013; Echoing Green Fellowship, 2012; and the Rolex Award for Enterprise, 2010.

The Foundation through its ADAPT programme has trained 3000 drivers programme across 10 states and 2500 safety kits have been distributed, it has trained 10,000 police personnel and citizens across 6 states and achieved a reduction of 30% in road crashes in Delhi through its Jeevan Rakshak programme and as of 2020, the number of fatalities reduced to 66 from 151 in 2016.

  • Safety In Mobility Programme

    SaveLIFE Foundation has partnered with Vodafone to establish the Vodafone-SaveLIFE Road Safe mobile app to eliminate distractions from using mobile phones while driving.

    The app automatically disables calls, messages, push notifications, detects road accidents, initiates emergency responses, checks traffic offences and provides road safety tips.

  • ADAPT Programme

    District

    The Anticipatory Driving & Accident Prevention Training (ADAPT) certificate programme aims at solving India's driving problems. It focuses on helping drivers understand and anticipate people's behaviour on the road.

    Training is centred around the RADE Concept: Recognize, Anticipate, Decide and Execute. The programme is formatted such that drivers from all spheres of life can easily understand and incorporate the lessons into their driving practices. Bollywood references are used in training to enable people to remember the information for a long time.

  • Jeevan Rakshak Programme

    The organisation's Jeevan Rakshak training programme works to train citizens, police personnel and organisation employees in the techniques of basic trauma life support, so that bystanders and police at the site of an accident, can provide basic life support until an emergency medical care unit arrives.

  • Zero Fatality Corridor Programme

    The Zero Fatality Corridor attempts to develop a universally replicable model to reduce road accidents on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The model comprises a 360-degree road safety solution including the 4 E's of Road Safety: Engineering, Enforcement, Emergency Care, and Education.

    The initiative includes implementing an effective "chain of survival" by improving on-ground care, ambulatory care and in-hospital care for injured road crash victims.

    It has also developed a ‘Highway-in-a-box’ toolkit for highway authorities, a six-step solution to enable authorities to make quick decisions to reduce fatalities on the highway.
