Children's Programme
In engaging with children, Ankur program refrains from viewing them solely through a lens of deficiency, instead focusing on leveraging their inherent knowledge and utilizing their neighborhoods as valuable learning resources. The program serves as a co-traveler in the storytelling journey, emphasizing reflection, narration, and imagination to foster the exploration and demonstration of children's potential. The Learning Collective (6-10 years) provides an open space for children to celebrate curiosity, spontaneity, and self-creation, fostering learning experiences through peer interaction. Meanwhile, the Club (10-14 years) and Library (10-14 years) initiatives aim to affirm children's narratives, offering spaces for creative expression, storytelling, and active reading, thereby revitalizing intellectual life within the community while nurturing a passion for learning beyond traditional educational confines.
