Established in 2004, EHS began its journey by addressing the impact of HIV/AIDS through structured treatment education to ensure high adherence rates. It extended its efforts to prevent opportunistic infections and enhance the quality of life for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) through peer education and counselling. EHS further expanded its scope to sexual and reproductive health services, focusing on planned pregnancies and preventing parent-to-child transmission. Its work includes strengthening networks for quality care, collaborating with the Government, and reaching across 9 states. EHS also makes a tangible impact by providing safe drinking water to families, and mitigating waterborne illnesses through effective partnerships.

Safe Drinking Water Programme
Enable Health Society (EHS) partners with Piramal Sarvajal to deliver safe drinking water in schools, villages, and public spaces. Through a Behaviour Change Communication strategy, EHS utilizes tools to encourage water use and hygiene behaviours, facilitated by its Community Awareness and Local Marketing team. Community engagement is a priority, involving stakeholders in project ownership and decision-making. EHS, present for 15 years, impacts communities by serving 1.60+ lakh people daily, employing initiatives like "Adopt a School" and "Adopt a Village," offering safe water solutions and generating local jobs. Empowering narratives, like Mrs Kavitha's, showcase EHS's commitment to affordable access to safe water and improved health habits.

HIV/AIDS Support Programmes
Enable Health Society (EHS) is deeply engaged in HIV/AIDS projects, collaborating with partners and institutions to strengthen care, support, and awareness. Their contributions span capacity-building endeavours across high-prevalence states, training thousands of individuals in treatment adherence, counselling, and home-based care. EHS's active involvement in projects like Round IV and Round VI with the Global Fund highlights its commitment to training peer educators, counsellors, and healthcare workers.
