Agriculture and horticulture development
Our mission is to disseminate and transfer cutting-edge technology and development methods that significantly boost productivity in agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry. But our vision extends beyond mere productivity; it’s about holistic socio-economic development, with a special focus on empowering farmer women.
Here’s how we make a difference:
* Demonstration and Trial:
Our strategy begins with practical demonstrations. We showcase diverse crop varieties, innovative technologies, and the critical inputs that can transform farming outcomes.
* Exposure Tours and Field Days:
At every stage of the crop cycle, we organize exposure tours and field days for farmers. -
Health and family welfare
Trained community health workers operate in the field, while women’s groups take charge of health services. Children receive immunization, and adolescents are empowered with knowledge about health issues. Effective networking with the government health delivery system ensures antenatal care for pregnant and lactating women, as well as children under five years old. Community participation is a central aspect of the program, with the Women’s Health Committee leading the way.
