Vidya Gyan India aims to empower youth in rural and sub-urban areas in India through education and health. The organisation's initiatives include P Read moreencil to Power (PTP) which aims to develop writing skills amongst the children studying in 1st to 5th grade. For achieving the same, the organisation in July/August 2017 distributed 9000 notebooks, 5000 pencils and 2500 erasers to all children in about 25 schools. The second initiative is Savings to Secure (STS) which provides for basic level of financial security through incremental savings and empowering the girl child through education. The third initiative is Adopt a School which is aimed at making select schools more conducive to learning by providing resources. The fourth initiative is From Children's Pen which is a subset to Pencil to Power which aims to harness the creative side of children. The fifth initiative is Library and Laboratories for Learning (3L) which aims to develop libraries, provide lab equipments and textbooks to students in schools.
