The Akshara Foundation works with Government agencies to supplement classroom education with child-friendly pedagogy among preschool and primary schoo Read morel children. The pedagogy involves activities that connect to the curriculum and children's day-to-day life. It believes that every child has a basic right to access quality education, do well in life and not be limited by the availability of resources. To maximise the reach of education to underprivileged children it takes the help of shared resources and technology in good measure, combining conventional teaching methods with technology to create teaching and learning innovations for both teachers and children alike.

Akshara develops and implements low-cost, scalable solutions in public schools and preschool centers, focusing on improving foundational numeracy and literacy skills of children studying in government primary schools.
