  • Community Transformation Project

    District

    The Community Transformation Project focuses on Mental & Physical Health, Rights & Entitlements. Empowering faith and community-based organisations is the primary objective. The Physical Health Programme addresses communicable and non-communicable diseases, including reproductive health. The Mental Health Programme trains workers to raise mental health awareness, reducing stigma and discrimination. The trauma counselling vertical collaborates with rescue organisations to train caregivers and judicial officials. The Justice & Rights programme partners with justice organisations, educating communities on their rights, responsibilities, and advocating for entitlements.

  • Jeevan Helpline Programme

    District

    Jeevan Helpline, reachable at +91 74 2206 2206, offers crisis counselling from Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 10 PM. ACT, with 45 years of experience in community development and mental health, uniquely addresses prevention and care. The mental health professionals on the team bring diverse experience, providing counselling in slum communities and trauma care in Government aftercare homes. Recognizing each person's unique value and potential, it launched the Suicide Prevention Helpline JEEVAN on January 26, 2021, providing a platform for individuals to be heard and understood during challenging times.

  • Ahaana Programme

    District

    Ahaana focuses on Emotional Resilience, aiming to provide psychosocial care to women leaders in the community. The objective is to enhance their emotional resilience for self-care, benefiting themselves, their families, and the community. The programme addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and teaches skills for overall health. Modules cover diet, nutrition, personalized guidance, and regular exercise, including health checks and consultations. A self-care plan for each participant supports stress management and emotional well-being, reinforced through monthly support group meetings fostering accountability and mutual support.

  • Ayushman Programme

    Ayushman, dedicated to Promoting Healthy Lifestyles, aims to instill a commitment to self-care, emphasizing the significance of health management and stress reduction for enhanced well-being. Amid life's inevitable stresses, adopting a healthy lifestyle reflects joy and self-care while nurturing the capacity to serve others. Aligned with principles of love and stewardship, the programme encourages balanced nutrition, regular exercise, and relaxation techniques. By prioritizing health, individuals can contribute to an improved quality of life through effective stress management.

  • Youth Leadership Development Programme

    Youth Leadership Development aims to empower young individuals by fostering the capacity to make informed choices and embody positive masculinity. The objective includes encouraging youth involvement in both church and community activities. The programme supports young people in self-analysis, goal-setting, and building the confidence, motivation, and skills necessary for positive social change. ACT's training serves as an enlightening experience, guiding many youngsters to recognize their self-worth and avoid pitfalls like poor self-esteem and harmful addictions.
