  • Gender Sensitization and Mentoring Program for Young Men

    MAVA team engages and mentors young men aged 18 to 20 from colleges and universities on various gender and sexuality issues over the long term. Through innovative approaches such as interactive workshops, street theater, film screenings, folk media, wall newspapers, and social media, these mentored individuals are empowered to advocate for women's safety rights, reaching thousands of peers. The program has expanded to over 9 districts in Maharashtra, including Mumbai, and also includes adolescent boys in communities. MAVA collaborates with local educational institutions and civil society organizations to implement the Gender Sensitization and Mentoring initiative across these districts.
