● Child-wise development percentages across priority IEP areas selected against baseline assessment and evaluation goals ● Number of students reaching the next milestone. Improvement in cognitive, motor, Communication, social and independence skills of children with disabilities. ● Child-wise improvement observations by teacher, therapists, mentors, parents as per Reports/Feedback collected. ● Exposure of children with disabilities to real life experiences through educational visits. ● Children with disabilities are able to experience fun and enjoyment through recreational activities. ● Parents develop awareness about implications of disabilities which helps them to obtain techniques and strategies while dealing with the child. ● Parents acquire enhanced skills that make them more confident while taking care of children with multiple disabilities and Improvement in parents' mental health. ● Teachers and therapists trained in new techniques and strategies in special education and therapies. ● Sensitized community understanding the special needs and potential of children with disabilities. Providing special education and therapies focused on our work, sustainability to our organization is primarily the ability to sustain a program once initiated and proved effective. For any desired outcome to be achieved in terms of learning a special educational program, it would have to run for 2 to 3 years for one batch of children. Further when we seek long-term impact, we know from experience of our early work with parents that a prolonged effort is needed to bring that kind of change. Being an NGO, we are totally dependent on donations. We have a team who is involved in fundraising for the Muskan Foundation. We take minimal fees for Special Education and therapies depending on the financial condition of the parents ranging from Rs.100 to Rs.500 per month. And Rs. 100 per therapy. To assess the financial condition, we ask for salary slips and also conduct home visits. We check the total number of dependent members in the family and decide the fees for special education.
