Addressing tuberculosis, chronic diseases, and women's health, the organisation's efforts yield remarkable results, achieving a 90% tuberculosis cure rate surpassing national benchmarks. With a dedicated Eye Care programme, it conducts screenings, surgeries, and post-operative care, impacting over 100,000 lives through comprehensive eye health services. Since 1990, its outreach efforts have included home visits, school screenings, and mobile camps, ensuring access to eye care for the community, and performing around 500 cataract surgeries annually.

PRASAD Chikitsa's Community Health Programmes take a holistic approach, addressing immediate health needs and promoting sustainable improvements. Initiatives like the Reproductive and Child Health Programme ensure prenatal care and childcare education, leading to increased infant birth weights. School health camps assess children's well-being while emphasizing preventive care. Sanitation efforts combat open defecation with over 250 toilets constructed, while water initiatives include borewell recharge, bio-sand filters, rainwater harvesting, and wastewater management, ensuring clean water and preventing contamination. The Nutrition Programme serves 1,000+ daily nutritional servings to children and nursing mothers, significantly reducing malnutrition and boosting immunity in the Tansa Valley.

PRASAD Chikitsa, since 2001, champions sustainable community programmes encompassing agriculture, environment, education, and women's empowerment. Through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), it empowers women, addressing illiteracy, alcoholism, and gender roles, enabling them in income-generating activities. PRASAD guides SHGs in financial planning, fostering small-scale businesses and financial literacy. These groups drive diverse community projects, from entrepreneurship to HIV/AIDS awareness, engaging 250 SHGs and 2,900+ members. Education initiatives aid children affected by HIV/AIDS and provide career guidance, while the Arts & Crafts Program nurtures local culture, engaging 319 children in preserving traditional art.

PRASAD Chikitsa pioneers agricultural transformation in the Tansa Valley, aiding farmers in tackling challenges through education on crop enhancement, water conservation, and year-round farming. Emphasizing organic farming since 2012, it conducts regular training on inputs like vermicompost. The Orchard Project supports 200+ families by planting over 6,000 fruit trees, while floriculture aids nearly 100 families in cultivating flower crops. Initiatives like Indigenous Rice Seeds, kitchen gardens, and social forestry involve thousands in cultivating native seeds, establishing gardens, planting trees for conservation, enhancing sustainability and providing supplementary income sources for local communities.

PRASAD Chikitsa swiftly responded to the COVID-19 crisis by providing vital aid in the Tansa Valley. During the severe second wave in 2021, it tackled food insecurity by offering two daily hot meals until the lockdown lifted. The Anukampa Health Centre ensured ongoing medical care for non-COVID conditions. Teaming up with Americares India, PRASAD donated crucial medical supplies nationwide, including PPE kits and ventilators. In 2020, relief packages sustained vulnerable families with essential provisions, benefiting over 11,000 individuals. Additionally, initiating mask production by Self Help Groups, PRASAD distributed 1200 masks while educating communities on COVID prevention. It also donated vital medical equipment to bolster the local health department's fight against the virus, showcasing a proactive and comprehensive response to the crisis.
