Sarthak Welfare Foundation, a non-profit organization incorporated under section 8 of the company act, serves as a consortium of 40+ dedicated volunte Read moreers and experts fervently committed to their cause. Comprising teachers, counsellors, doctors, psychologists, social workers, and specialists from diverse sectors, this collective expertise contributes significantly to Sarthak's growth and impact. Sarthak's core objective is to catalyse qualitative, positive, and sustainable changes within society's structure and framework, facilitating the realization of broader societal aims and objectives. The organisation strongly believes that "development" is an ongoing process of social transformation, encompassing economic, political, social, and technological progress. It extends beyond mere policies and programs, involving the realization of latent human potentials. Human beings, not just material factors, drive development, fuelled by their energy and aspirations. The process of social change in any society involves both policy-level shifts and alterations in the mentality, attitudes, and thought processes of all stakeholders. While policy changes manifest swiftly and extensively, the evolution of social behaviour and mentality is a gradual yet enduring process. Sarthak is dedicated to fostering qualitative and behavioural social change, recognizing its lasting impact. The organisation firmly upholds that people's awareness shapes the trajectory of development. Their competence, productivity, creativity, organizational abilities, education levels, aspirations, energies, attitudes, values, skills, and access to information collectively influence individual, familial, communal, national, and global development. At Sarthak, the primary focus is on raising awareness and transforming perspectives and thought processes to facilitate a positive and enduring societal change.

Skill enhancement training program
Sarthak encourages young individuals to either develop vocational skills or pursue higher education upon completing secondary school. It empowers young and impressionable students to make informed choices by providing support through career counselling, dedicated educational assistance, and timely guidance and training.
In India, many youths base their career decisions on prevailing beliefs, job availability, parental guidance, and societal expectations. Sarthak aims to intervene by engaging adolescents from various schools. The foundation is committed to economically empowering students in rural districts by offering career counselling and imparting multiple soft skills training. This initiative aims to equip underprivileged students with the capacity to explore and pursue suitable employment or self-employment opportunities. -
Village adoption movement
Through the village adoption movement project, Sarthak enhances community understanding among individuals. It fosters a sense of empowerment among community members and motivates active engagement in future community initiatives. It improves connections between schools and the community and guides the enthusiasm and energy of young individuals to address local needs alongside community leaders and citizens. By involving students in decision-making processes, the conventional dynamics between adults and youth evolve, transforming from a model where youth merely receive instructions to one where both adults and youth collaborate as active team members.
