CEDRA, the Centre for Education Developmental Research and Action, strives to create an equitable and balanced society by reaching out to impoverished Read more and oppressed communities. Through extensive research, it identifies community needs and organises programmes focused on education, health, and livelihoods. It empowers the masses through awareness generation, education, community participation, and developmental activities while establishing linkages with Government and non-government organisations. Currently, it collaborates with international organisations like CAIRN India and HelpAge India, implementing initiatives such as Safe Drinking Water projects, General Health camps, and various micro-level interventions. These interventions include School Enrollment drives, Plantations, Pediatrician interventions with ICDS, Road and Work safety workshops, and Skill-building training for women and youth in areas like Computer skills, Tailoring, and Agarbatti making. Furthermore, CEDRA has successfully executed numerous projects for international organisations, Government agencies, and departments, making a positive socio-economic impact.

RO Plant Installation
The organisation worked on a safe drinking water project in 3 districts of Gujarat in partnership with CAIRN India. The project included installation of RO water purification systems to ensure pure drinking water to the communities.

Micro Level Intervention Project
It worked on a micro-level intervention project in 7 districts of Gujarat in collaboration with CAIRN India.

Free Medical Camp Programme
In partnership with Help Age India, CEDRA conducted free health checkup camps in 3 districts of Gujarat.

Water Pack Distribution Programme
The organisation conducted the distribution of water bag packs to ease the fetching of water and also its availability to the individual in need of drinking water. This project was carried out in partnership with Balmer & Lawrie.
