Kapadwanj Kelavani Mandal traces its roots back to 1940 when a dedicated few in Kapadwanj, Gujarat, started a mission with limited resources. Its focu Read mores has been on improving education accessibility, healthcare, sports training, skill development, and fostering art and culture. From humble beginnings with a single teacher and 20 students, it now supports over 7,000 students across various institutions. Over time, it has expanded, establishing schools, colleges, and educational centres, including an English Medium Nursery, Primary School, PTC College, and a B.Ed College. Recognizing the importance of technology, it set up computer training centres teaching various essential programmes. Moreover, the organisation emphasizes vocational training and non-traditional education, offering diverse programmes like pre-primary teacher training, first aid, sports, music, dance, and more. To promote holistic well-being, the organisation has ventured into healthcare, aiming to manage a hospital in Kapadwanj and extend services to rural areas through collaborations. It has also partnered with various entities to provide skill training in construction, GST accounting, and field technician roles. Furthermore, understanding the significance of spreading scientific knowledge, it collaborates with Agastya International Foundation to establish Science Centres in rural schools, aiming for widespread scientific education nationwide.
