The Integrated Development Foundation (IDF) is a social development agency that dedicates its life to uplifting the hopes and standard of living of ma Read morerginalised rural communities and people in Bihar and Jharkhand. IDF was established in 1993 by a group of seasoned social development specialists. Since then, it has implemented numerous community-based projects at the grassroots level, utilising a variety of tactics to carry out its purpose tenaciously. It has led the way in enhancing capacity and implementing community-level processes. Three guiding principles govern the organisation: leveraging resources, developing local capacity, fortifying community institutions, and fostering sustainable rural development through convergence. UN agencies, national and international financiers, leading corporate houses under CSR, and state governments all support IDF. In addition, IDF leads several governmental and local NGO networks.
