CDC is a secular, non-profitable, registered society. (Regd.No.9/1997) which was started on the lines of “By the patients and for the patients”. We ha Read moreve established ourselves as skills training provider since the past 20 years. We train students in computer basics, DTP, tally, tailoring and fashion designing. We are working towards the welfare and development of leprosy affected persons, the differently abled, poor destitute women and downtrodden people. People have always been supportive. We involve them in various community development programes like awareness camps, blood donation camps , aids and appliances distribution etc. The main motto of the society is to cater to the “Upliftment of ailing people and initiate service activities through them and for their enhancement”.

TB Awareness Programme
On July 15, 2022, the CDC Center hosted a program focused on raising awareness about tuberculosis prevention. Ms. Narmada, the coordinator of Chennai Corporation's National Tuberculosis Elimination Program, along with other officers, participated in providing information on tuberculosis symptoms, transmission modes, treatment options, and prevention methods. The program included a free lung examination through X-ray conducted the following day, benefiting approximately 65 students and staff members of the CDC who attended the event.
