Divya Rasa Trust, also known as Divya Rasa, is a centre focused on healing, learning, research, and communication. Established in 2015, it began with Read morea vision conceived in 2007 and later registered as Divya Rasa Charitable Trust. Initially dedicated to the care of autistic and differently-abled children in Tiruvannamalai, its operations expanded to include a day-care centre offering free services such as day-care, nutritious meals, and transportation to local children, starting again in 2022 after a temporary closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organisation's activities also encompass the management of a GoShala, which started small but has since grown to house 26 cows. Ensuring the well-being of these animals remains a priority, with ongoing efforts to enhance their care while cherishing their presence as part of the centre's environment.

Programs

  • Feed our Cows Programme

    Divya Rasa Trust runs a programme called "Go Samrakshanam - Feed Our Cows" aimed at providing care and sustenance to its 26 cows. Through this initiative, it seeks to share the unique stories of each animal and solicit support for their well-being and nutrition. The programme entails monthly expenses covering staff salaries, fodder, supplements, and medical care, amounting to Rs. 60,000. Contributions are crucial to ensure the proper care and feeding essential for the health of these animals.

  • Commune Projects

    Divya Rasa Trust operates Commune Projects, aiming to support education and community needs. It highlights cases like Lekhasree and Chandru, seeking sponsorships for their education amidst challenging circumstances. Additionally, it assists Logeshwari in her pursuit of becoming a physiotherapist and facilitates housing for Sundar Ayya's family after a storm. Its efforts extend to supporting Mahalakshmi's education, demonstrating a commitment to empowering individuals through education and community support.
