A few good-hearted people gathered frequently to start discussing about the situation of the people and lend some services to the deserving. In the c Read moreourse of time seven like minded people decided to form a group and that is how our organisation came into being. We started functioning with the name DOWNTRODDEN ECONOMIC AND EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY. Our social service was systematically organized from 1st August 1991 onwards under the abled leadership of Rev. Fr. S. S. Muthu who is known for his tireless work and efficiency. The well wishers and the elders of the area also guided and encouraged the members of the society in all the possible ways to make our work effective and useful to the people, particularly to the youth folk. On 26th August 1991, our society was registered as per the Tamil Nadu Government Registration Act-1976. Also we changed our name as ST.XAVIER’S EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY.
