A Safe Childhood Begins with Ending Alcoholism

In the tribal villages of Jharkhand, alcohol is not just a habit—it is a crisis. It destroys families, traps generations in despair, and robs children of their innocence. Women face violence. Families lose income, dignity, and hope.

• 35% of men in these villages drink alcohol—double the national average.
• 1 in 3 women experience domestic abuse, often fueled by alcohol.
• Local brews keep the cycle alive, leaving villages broken and hopeless.

But there is hope—and it starts with young village superheroes.

Through our Leadership Academy, we identify and train motivated youth to become agents of change. They learn leadership, social, political, and cultural skills to challenge alcoholism and inspire their communities.

So far, 63 Superheroes have reached 3,500 people across tribal Jharkhand—raising awareness, breaking the silence, and helping families stand against addiction.
