IGNITING HOPE! A Global Storytelling Fundraiser for Covid Relief

Mumbai First and Mumbai Storytellers Society host a global live fundraiser event, “ Igniting Hope!” - A Global Storytelling Fundraiser for Covid relief on 19th of June 2021, from 6pm IST, onwards.

The array of eminent Storytellers from all over the world includes Shereen Saif from Dubai, Mehak Mirza Prabhu from Mumbai, India, Hrishikesh Kannan from Mumbai, India, Lalit Prabhakar from Mumbai, India, Valentina Trivedi from Lucknow, India, Diane Ferlatte from United States of America, Dr Vayu Naidu from United Kingdom and Naseeruddin Shah from Mumbai, India. The spectacular line up of storytellers would be sharing stories of hope , courage and joy!!

Partnering with Mumbai First and Mumbai Storytellers Society for this storytelling fundraiser are Team Work Arts, Tantraa, BookASmile – the charity initiative of BookMyShow and Lions Clubs International.

The funds collected will go to Raah foundation who will exclusively use the funds for Covid Relief related work. The donation links will be shared during the fundraiser.

BookASmile will match donations collected through this fundraiser upto five lakh rupees

About Raah Foundation:

Our tribal indigenous communities are in huge distress. Covid has completed wrecked havoc in their lives and many of their loved ones have succumbed - many are struggling and most have lost any form, of livelihood or income source. Vulnerable health, fragile health infrastructure and absence of any sustainable income source - they are on the verge of breakdown. We need to work at multiple levels to support them and bring them out of this disaster and rebuild their lives.
