The extent of the struggles here was beyond my imagination. These villages had no connectivity to the outside world, no healthcare, no education, there was absolutely nothing”, says Bipin Dhane founder of the school. Bipin, who grew up in the small town of Satara in Maharashtra, faced countless financial hardships. Despite his struggles, Bipin secured admission to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and then went on to take up a job in Singapore. Owing to his childhood experiences Bipin was always inclined towards helping the less fortunate, and he believed in the transformative power of education. It was in 2016 that Bipin left his lucrative career abroad and moved to Majuli, to provide the children from this inaccessible river island education they were deprived of.“Whatever little money I had saved, I gave it to my parents. I had no money to start the school. It was then that villagers came together to build bamboo huts. Each family donated bamboo, wood, and whatever little they could. Livelihood, poverty and disability are very intricately interdependent. Poverty leads to disability and the converse is true too. We identified these type of persons are leads financial problems, they get handicapped pension from the government. Some of the persons are worked hardly but gets earnings are meager; their earnings are not support for caring of their family needs. We are helping these identified beneficiaries and they live a dignified life in their future. We are planning to help the neediest and deserving more beneficiaries in the organization. 
 We are currently running rural village name Pedana, Identifyied around 200 poor disabled persons. Many are belongs to weaker sections from under privileged families. Some of the people are daily wage labors, small farmers and weavers, all are BPL families. Their meager earnings are not supporting their children educational needs. We are planning for bright future in daily survival. Disabled persons are asking for their daily nutrition. This kind of support leads them for better life. 
  Asha Kiran has empowered thousands of individuals with Nutritional needs of their families. This individualized  programme for individuals with Nutrition needs will continue to support.

Asha Kiran aims at eliminating the hunger crisis of Rural India through our relief and advocacy efforts. It started as a citizen-led campaign to meet the immediate, after lock down-induced food demands of the homeless, migrant workers, daily wage workers and other vulnerable population in Villages of Pedana. While at the face of it some cities have bounced back to normalcy, the situation at the grassroots level is grim. Lakhs of vulnerable families are still living in uncertainty. 
 Nutritional kits for needy families under who are risk to survive. Nutritional packed provisions for 2500 families belonging to daily wage group. 
 We are ensuring that we reach out to the most vulnerable families through our Dry Ration operations. These are family-driven projects which serve the dual purpose of eliminating hunger and reviving the local economy. These support and activities are giving more prevention from Covid-19 in sustainable manner because the project will protect them from the disease and disaster. When high risk people are prevented from pandemic, new infection is reduced. Starvation and its death are deduced among daily wage families when they are assured Nutritional kit.
