The India STEM Foundation is dedicated to promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and fostering a passion for the Read morese subjects among students in India, through robotics. It conducts competitions and establishes educative initiatives in robotics, to build a scientific temperament amongst students. It is affiliated with numerous private and Government organisations like the Department of Science and Technology, the Singapore-based world robotics olympiad association and the National Council of Science Museums.

Programs

  • Robo Shikhsha Kendra Programme

    The Robo Siksha Kendra, created by India STEM Foundation, is an initiative that aims to cultivate young minds as future innovators in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). Through the Robo Siksha Kendra, children are provided with access to robotics and project-based hands-on learning activities, enabling them to develop a scientific mindset, foster innovation, and nurture creativity. The activities are designed in accordance with the NCERT National Curriculum Framework and align with the objectives of the MHRD Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan, NITI Aayog Atal Tinkering Labs, and PM Skill India projects.

  • FIRST LEGO League Programme

    The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an engaging robotics competition designed for students aged 9 to 16. Teams consisting of 2 to 10 students, guided by one or two adult coaches, can participate in this competition. FLL provides students with the chance to explore real-world challenges in science and technology while having fun and developing essential life skills. The programme requires participating teams to carry out various tasks and projects as part of their learning experience.

  • World Robot Olympiad

    The robotics competition, jointly organised by the National Council of Science Museums and the Ministry of Culture, and supported by the Department of Science & Technology, aims to promote STEM education among students aged 9 to 25 years. This competition encourages students to work in teams of 2 to 3 members and solve scientific challenges based on specific themes. By engaging in this robotics competition, students have the opportunity to develop their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
