The Labhya Foundation has taken up a mission to deliver social and emotional learning to school children across India. Taking advantage of the existin Read moreg public education delivery systems and partnering with multiple State Governments across India, it develops and kickstarts initiatives aimed at blending social and emotional learning(SEL) with normal academics. It believes that including social and emotional learning with academics gives a better chance to children to manage and face the bad effects of poverty and become receptive to learning throughout their lives. The children are better equipped to deal with their emotions, uphold beneficial relationships and realise their goals in the long term. Its founders and the organisation itself have been decorated with multiple awards for their efforts, the most recent ones being: • Ms Richa was honoured with being one of the 17 young leaders in the United Nations in 2022 • Harvard social impact fellowship 2020. • An impact documentary was created on the Foundation's impact by Hundred & Lego Foundation.
