  • Animal Casualties

    District

    It addresses the growing cases of injured and wounded animals by operating dedicated ambulances which attend not only to hurt street animals but also pets who have been mishandled by their owners. Volunteers of the organisation are active to rescue animals and are trained to provide first-aid thereby providing immediate relief to wounded animals.

  • Animal Overpopulation

    District

    Overpopulation of street animals is also a cause of concern for the organisation, which regularly conducts areawise census exercises to get to know the number of stray animals. Spay and Neuter programmes are conducted to limit the sexual behaviour of stray street animals in an attempt to reduce their numbers leading to healthier animals and controlled populations.

  • Animal Homelessness

    District

    The organisation strives to reduce animal homelessness by putting rescued stray animals up for adoption by caring people from society. It manages shelters where sick, injured and neglected animals are given protection and attention while also running awareness campaigns to make the public aware of the plight of the animals on the streets.

  • Indian Perception & Advocacy

    District

    The organisation feels that lack of information and insensitivity to the situation also contributes to the problems of strays. It conducts awareness sessions and tries to teach co-existence with street animals and also runs campaigns and workshops in schools to sensitize the children and the public to be empathetic to strays and street animals.
