Before project initiation, Gram Vikas conducts comprehensive surveys at the village level to ascertain needs, facilitating targeted interventions in health, education, and the socio-economic well-being of rural women. By employing grassroots-level implementation and engaging local communities, including women, children, youth, and farmers, Gram Vikas ensures effective programme delivery and meaningful impact.     District

    Programs for women commenced with Tailoring Training Programs, benefiting 156 groups of rural women from diverse villages. The organization facilitated three exclusive awareness programmes for women and children. These camps aimed to educate and empower women and children on various pertinent issues. Through these initiatives, women gained valuable skills in tailoring, and enhancing their economic independence, while the awareness camps provided essential knowledge and resources to address key concerns affecting women and children in rural communities.

    District

    Health programs conducted by the organisation prioritized rural villages, offering vital education on various health topics. These initiatives included AIDS Awareness Camps, where Gram Vikas successfully prevented HIV infections through impactful awareness campaigns. Also specialized Reproductive Health Checkup Camps were organized, featuring Lady Gynecologists for comprehensive screenings. Moreover, the organisation actively participated in Pulse Polio Programs, collaborating with local government bodies to ensure maximum coverage and protection for children in the community against polio.
