Making A Difference Foundation is a non-profit organisation established with the vision of bringing about a positive transformation in society. The or Read moreganisation strives to encourage and inspire the young minds of India to come forward in nation building process, with the primary focus being on education and empowerment. M.A.D Foundation was founded by professor Mr. Haresh Shah. In its early days, the organisation was working for orphaned children, towards healthcare issues and civic awareness. In the later stages, the organisation worked towards railway station beautification and also towards livelihood through its most recent venture, which is village adoption, development and modernisation. The organisation is working with the vision of betterment of vulnerable children so as to achieve the equitable outcomes in their lives. We strive whole heartedly, to demonstrate and provide additional care and support system to ensure that children flourish. We believe that every child has a right to obtain the best academic education so that they can compete with children in urban areas in all regards. Bringing about positive transformation in society and empowering people in the nation building process are the key aspiration of Making A Difference Foundation. The organisation aims to improve the quality of life and ensure positive outcomes for marginalized populations, specifically children and youth by providing them opportunity to constructively contribute to their communities and inspiring them to realize their full potential.

    Any rural area's development is heavily dependent on infrastructure and education. However, we at M.A.D firmly feel that skills and entrepreneurship are equally important for: 
    Increasing productivity
    Reducing poverty 

    However, entrepreneurship and skills, in our opinion at M.A.D, are equally important for reducing poverty, increasing production, and improving employment and livelihood chances.

  • Hostel for Tribal Children

    A hostel for tribal children living in the tribal village of Yashwant Nagar, Vikramgad – Palghar in Maharashtra, India, has been established by the M.A.D Foundation. An important component of "Sheth Shri Jaychanddas Shah Swapna Shrusti" is this hostel. 150 tribal children will be housed in the hostel, where they will get education, nutrition, and empowerment skills. The ultimate goal of opening this hostel is for the Tribal People to become capable and accomplish great things.
