The organization provides accommodation for impoverished and orphaned boys and girls, currently catering to 50 boys and girls. Additionally, there are 50 grandparents in the old age home. Daily needs, including food and shelter, are met through contributions from various individuals. Operating in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, the organization urgently requires a school building. Mission: The mission of the organization is to guide vulnerable individuals, especially the elderly and differently-abled men, women, and children, engaging them in productive activities. The organization aims to direct youth from backward areas towards constructive development, utilizing their energy for the progress of these regions. Additionally, the mission includes guiding the poor towards sustainable economic development. It believes in sharing its name's reference and upholding the dignity of all individuals it encounters. The primary mission involves supporting people to meet the basic requirements of life while empowering those facing abject conditions and oppression. Objectives: To build a society through schemes and innovative approaches, ensuring everyone has access to health food, decent shelter in good habitats, and basic and higher education leading to optimum human actualization. To create a society where everyone has access to employment and self-employment with self-respect and dignity, leading to optimum human actualization. To establish a society through welfare and advocacy programs where women, children, aged persons with disabilities, or differently-abled persons, and weaker communities are specially protected against atrocities, abuse, repression, emancipation, and oppression, irrespective of nationality, group, class, race, place of birth, and culture. To develop a society where everyone enjoys the benefits of a democratic governance system, irrespective of caste, class, creed, religion, place of birth, and culture. To foster a society where everyone experiences a harmonious and peaceful life, with access to fair justice, irrespective of caste, class, creed, religion, place of birth, and culture. The goal is to build a strong social team capable of combating any emergency situation. To create a society where every interaction is for the development of quality leadership among tribal communities, especially among women and youth, irrespective of class, creed, cultural heritage, and identity.

Programs

  • Free health checkup and treatment camp in schools

    Global Mahanubhav Sangh organizes free health checkup and treatment camps in collaboration with private medical practitioners. These camps are conducted in four villages of Aurangabad Block, examining and treating 226 patients. The success of these programs is attributed to the cooperation of local formal and informal leaders, teachers, and Anganwadi staff.

  • Gurukul

    The organization operates a Gurukul that has successfully provided admission to 140 students. It offers boarding and lodging facilities, with supervision by dedicated social workers ensuring the well-being and educational progress of the students.

  • HIV/AIDS Awareness Rally for Prevention and Control

    Global Mahanubhav Sangh takes part in an annual HIV/AIDS Awareness Day rally, collaborating with local high schools and community members. The active involvement of teachers and students is notable, with participants holding banners and displaying impactful slogans in the local language. The rally includes informative lectures by local medical officers and teachers on HIV/AIDS prevention and control. Literature in the local language is distributed during the event to enhance awareness.

    The organization conducts health education campaigns in collaboration with four schools in the Aurangabad Block. These campaigns cover topics such as nutrition, a balanced diet, personal hygiene, healthy habits, and safe drinking water. Approximately 985 students benefit from these initiatives, contributing to positive behavioural changes for a healthier lifestyle.

  • Celebration of National Days and Birth Anniversaries

    Global Mahanubhav Sangh consistently celebrates National Days and Birth Anniversaries of National Leaders at its Gurukul grounds. The events involve the hoisting of the National Flag, delivering lectures on the historical significance of the occasions, and the distribution of sweets to the present audience and students.

  • Pulse Polio Programme Awareness & Service

    Actively participating in the Pulse Polio Programme, the organization collaborates with local Public Health Centers (PHC) and Balwadi Staff. Awareness and service programs are conducted in four villages of Gangapur Block, benefitting 198 children. In addition to polio-related activities, lectures on safe motherhood and child care are arranged during group meetings with women.

  • Distribution of uniforms and books

    Global Mahanubhav Sangh supports students from rural areas by distributing books among 125 students. This initiative aims to sustain students' interest in education and promote continued learning. The program is implemented in four slum areas near Ashram Schools, providing essential educational resources for economically disadvantaged students.

  • Prevention of Alcoholism, Drug Addiction & Counseling

    Recognizing the challenges of drug addiction in slum dwellers, the organization initiates de-addiction counselling for 150 youths in Paithan Block. Regular guidance is provided to prevent addiction and encourage a healthier lifestyle, addressing issues such as alcohol consumption, smoking, drug addiction, and gutkha chewing.
