Food for Life Vrindavan is an organization that seeks long-lasting solutions and works effectively to improve all areas of life in Vrindavan. FFLV is Read more dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor residents of Vrindavan since 1990, particularly girls and women, by providing comprehensive, essential human services which empower them to pursue fulfilling lives and become exemplary members of the society, and by protecting the natural environment in which they live. Our work includes free meal distribution, providing water wells for villages which have no access to drinking water, care for cows, medical camps, environment projects, cleaning and planting trees, a paper recycling factory, an organic farm, sewing and embroidery center (providing employment opportunity for village women) Most prominently, however, FFLV provides free education for over 1,500 kids. Out of which 13,00 are girls and 200 boys who are out sponsored.

  • Food Distribution

    Every day since 1991, FFLV has provided a free evening meal consisting of rice, lentils, vegetables, and butter. Moreover, FFLV plans dinners for the blind, widows, and sadhus.

    The goal of our food ration programme is to assist families that are in such terrible shape that they are unable to pay for even one meal per day. A family can be fed for a month with $25 worth of wheat flour, rice, oil, salt, sugar, spices, and other necessities. Currently, over 50 families receive monthly food rations.
    The charitable organisation strives to feed everyone who passes through the school gate regularly, to never turn away a hungry mouth.

  • Education

    The main goals of FFLV are to educate the underprivileged girls in Vrindavan so they can change their lives and break the cycle of poverty for their families.

    A girl with an education becomes an essential part of the community; her knowledge and abilities interrupt the generational cycle of ignorance. a young homeless person who was raised by begging. Their living environment is ignorance and misconceptions, and the misery is unbearable. She lacks both hope and confidence. Her life has been destroyed, as well as the lives of everyone nearby. a societal curse that is passed down through the generations.
