  • Babies Home For Abandoned & Surrendered Babies

    Life Line operates as a licensed Specialized Adoption Agency authorized for both in-country and inter-country adoption by the Government of Tamil Nadu and CARA, Government of India. Established in April 2002 in Salem district, the Babies' Home ensures optimal care for newborns aged 1 day to 3 years. Operating according to CARA guidelines, adoption placements for prospective adoptive parents are facilitated. To date, 523 babies have been successfully placed in in-country adoption.

  • De Addiction Centre for Boys

    Under the guidance of the Social Welfare and Nutritious Programme Department, the establishment of a De-addiction center at Chengalpattu for children of Government Observation Homes and Special Homes began on Jan 17th, 2018. Located in a rented building at Alagesan Nagar, Chengalpet near the Government Hospital, the center offers a range of ongoing activities including detoxification and medical services, nutritious meals, yoga and meditation, games and sports, daily reflection, therapeutical classes, counseling, recreational activities, family therapy, and literacy programs with access to a library.
