  • Sports Schools & Sports Coaching Programme

    The Sports School offers co-educational programmes designed for students showcasing undeniable athletic talents and significant potential for sports development. The school's primary goal is to mentor students along a dual-path career, ensuring their success in both sports and academics. It stands as a unique institution that seamlessly integrates sports and academic studies, providing tailored educational environments to accommodate students' sporting commitments. The curriculum combines academic coursework with specialized sports training, thoughtfully scheduled to harmonize with academic subjects.   • Organisation of Tournaments/Competitions

    The Kalinga Sports Foundation hosted Kabaddi tournaments for schoolchildren in the Koraput Block, attracting 16 participating teams. The competition took place at Gandhi Nagar, Koraput, spanning from December 10 to December 13, 2017. The victors and runners-up were honoured with prizes and trophies.
    Additionally, the Foundation organised athletic competitions for children from Child Care Institutions (CCIs) with approximately 50 young participants. Events included the 100m and 200m sprints, high jump, and long jump. Some of the talented children were identified for participation in the State Level Competitions.

  • Youth Camp Programme

    The Kalinga Sports Foundation collaborated with Yuva Bharat and Bharatiya Adimjati Sevak Sangh, New Delhi, to host a youth camp from December 15th to 18th, 2017, at BAJSS, Jhandewalan, New Delhi. Approximately 30 young participants from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra came together to address current youth-related challenges. The camp focused on training in yoga, life skills, self-confidence, leadership, and promoting a healthy, drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle.

  • Adventure Sports Programme

    Kalinga Sports Foundation conducted a trekking adventure in the village of Janiguda within the Koraput Block of Koraput district. The event, which unfolded on January 16, 2018, saw enthusiastic participation from 22 young individuals. As a testament to their achievement, all participants were honoured with certificates of participation.
