The foundation works in partnership with local communities, Government agencies, and NGOs to design and implement programmes that address these challenges. Some of the key activities of the foundation include providing access to safe drinking water, promoting hygiene and sanitation practices, and improving healthcare facilities. It also places emphasis on education and skill development, operating multiple initiatives to improve educational outcomes for children, such as providing scholarships and supporting infrastructure development for schools. Additionally, the foundation provides vocational training to young adults to enhance their employability and create opportunities for economic growth. By working closely with local communities and stakeholders, the Ambuja Cement Foundation aims to create sustainable solutions that have a lasting impact on the lives of people living in rural and tribal areas of India. It has been honoured with many awards for its services the latest being the ICAI Awared for excellence in financial reporting, the FICCI CSR Award, the Indra Mahila Shakti Protsahan Award and the CSR Health Impact Award.

The Ambuja Cement Foundation has impacted 2.8 million people in 3547 villages across 11 states by investing Rs 150 crore and partnering with 75 organizations, benefiting 2.21 lakh farmers, 34,000 women, and 86,000 youth.
