Programs

  • The CHILDLINE Service

At CHILDLINE, the action process begins with a call to the CHILDLINE 1098 helpline, available 24/7. The call is received at the CHILDLINE centre, where details are collected, and necessary units are mobilized. The CHILDLINE team aims to reach the distressed child within 60 minutes for immediate rescue. After the rescue, CHILDLINE works with stakeholders such as police, child protection boards, social workers, and counsellors. The consent and participation of the child are valued throughout the process. To ensure ongoing safety, CHILDLINE provides long-term rehabilitation and conducts follow-ups, including meeting the child's family or visiting shelters if necessary.
