Its team, consisting of passionate young individuals, is driven by the conviction in the profound impact of education. Their mission is to ensure that every child, particularly those in urban slums, villages, and construction sites in Uttar Pradesh, has access to their Right to Education. The core objective is to combat dire poverty in slum areas by offering education and vocational training to children. This involves integrating into these communities by establishing permanent Yellow Rooms, creating a sustainable environment for comprehensive development. The overarching vision is to bring happiness and positivity to children's lives, advocating for their well-being and enhancing their standard of living through education access. By 2025, the goal is to educate around 4500 children, with a special focus on empowering girls by overcoming financial hurdles. Despite starting with minimal resources, the organization has evolved from teaching just six children under a tree to providing daily education to over 1000 children across seven Yellow Rooms in slums, construction sites, and a village. Furthermore, they have initiated a pre-primary rural school to broaden their outreach and impact.

    Guided by the vision of 'Happy Empowered Children', the initiative establishes permanent community centres, named Yellow Rooms, adorned in yellow symbolizing happiness and hope. These centres provide free programmes addressing values, behaviour, civic sense, gender, rights, social issues, and life skills. Their holistic education approach encompasses linguistic, communication, numeracy, and scientific skills, complemented by provisions such as food, clothing, counselling, and exposure to digital and corporate environments. Additionally, children's admission to both private and government schools is facilitated, along with the provision of life and employment skills training.

  • Round Table India Sarthak Gurukul

    Round Table India Sarthak Gurukul, an initiative of the Sarthak Foundation and Sahyog-Indian Council for PPP, receives support from Round Table India and numerous generous individuals. LMRT 255 aids in constructing classrooms and toilet blocks at Sarthak Gurukul. Lucknow Mavericks Round Table 255, a part of Round Table India, champions the cause. Established in 1998, Round Table India adopted ‘FREEDOM THROUGH EDUCATION’ as its National Project to educate underprivileged children. A low-fee primary school in Sonari, Uttar Pradesh, addresses the lack of quality education in the area.
