The WinVinaya Foundation focuses on Education, Gender, Child & Youth Development, Technology, and Special Abilities. It stands out as a unique Charita Read moreble Trust by specializing in training Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in modern skills such as Software Development, Data Visualization, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Its main objective is to equip economically disadvantaged individuals, women, and PWDs with essential life skills for dignified employment. Starting in a household setting with limited resources, including computers and students, it has significantly expanded its reach. Employing an inclusive approach, the Foundation has provided training to hundreds of students with various disabilities in a wide range of courses. The founders aspire to a future where collaboration with supporters and strategic partners will allow them to impact the lives of millions of Persons with Disabilities positively. The WinVinaya Academy (WVA) represents the first Digital Learning Academy for PWDs in India, offering courses in Indian Sign Language and Simple English. It covers subjects ranging from Java to Soft Skills, operating on the Cloud to promote flexible learning. The learning experience integrates micro-learning videos, practical exercises, and assessments, supported by a Blended Learning Model that includes mentorship from expert trainers through daily calls, WhatsApp groups, and emails.

  • EduConnect Programme

    WinVinaya collaborates with Inclusive Schools, Colleges, and Universities, introducing the WinVinaya Academy along with a Train the Teachers programme. This strategic partnership aims to address the existing skill gap in Foundational Skills, including English Communication and specialized expertise, at an earlier stage. Notable collaborations include TEACH in Mumbai, NISH in Thiruvananthapuram, CDAP in Trichy, and Bishop Moore College in Manakala, Kerala.

  • Sensitization Programme

    Emphasizing the potency of collaborative efforts, the first stride toward inclusion involves sparking discussions and fostering awareness. Active engagement characterizes the commitment, manifested through diverse Diversity & Inclusion activities. These initiatives span Disability Awareness Orientation, Sensitization Workshops, Fundamentals of Indian Sign Language Orientation, and Sign Language Interpretation Support. Tailored for corporates, NGOs, educational institutions, and stakeholders, these activities promote a culture of understanding and inclusion. Additionally, support is extended to corporate volunteers through activity-specific Orientation and Sensitization programmes, reinforcing the dedication to fostering an inclusive and informed community.

  • WinVinaya Academy

    WinVinaya Academy (WVA), India's pioneering Digital Learning Academy for Persons with Disabilities, offers courses in Indian Sign Language and Simple English. Covering Java, SQL, English, Core Banking, MS Excel, and Soft Skills, WVA's cloud-based platform ensures learning flexibility anytime, anywhere. The experiential learning approach comprises Micro-Learning Videos (iLearn), numerous exercises for auto and expert evaluation (iPractice), and timed assessments (iAssess). Embracing a Blended Learning Model, candidates benefit from WinVinaya Academy and Expert Trainers' mentoring through daily calls, WhatsApp groups, and emails, fostering a comprehensive and accessible learning experience. Plans include expanding course offerings for a more inclusive educational landscape.

  • World Mental Health Day@ Atma Sakthi Vidyala

    WinVinaya Foundation conducted a session at Athma Sakthi Vidyalaya, Bengaluru, a facility providing residential therapeutic treatment for adults with mental illness. Facilitated by Akila Sankar, the Movement Therapy session engaged candidates and trainers in activities such as understanding breath, connecting through interactive exercises, and exploring movement patterns through dance. The session aimed to promote relaxation, self-expression, and empathy. Basic sign language was introduced, with participants enjoying spelling their names and showcasing newfound vocabulary to their peers. The session contributed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

  • Margadarshan Programme - The Job Fair for PWD's

    Margadarshan, a Job Fair for Persons with Disabilities, was organised in collaboration with Shree Ramana Maharishi Academy for the Blind. The event saw participation from over 300 candidates and 20 prominent companies, including Wipro, Capgemini, and Walmart Labs. The job fair provided a platform for inclusive employment opportunities, facilitating connections between talented individuals with disabilities and leading companies. Such initiatives play a crucial role in fostering diversity and promoting equal opportunities in the workforce, benefitting both candidates and participating organisations.
