SAMBANDH has traversed through twenty-five meaningful years since its inception in 1992. The primary focus of SAMBANDH's programs has been on the Read more right based approach for being with the poor in their struggle to obtain a life of justice and dignity. SAMBANDH directed a good proportion of its resources and energy to the revival of traditional knowledge and culture, economic development for sustainable livelihood through natural resource management, biodiversity conservation with access and benefit-sharing, and empowerment of the village community. SAMBANDH mobilizes and directs its resources to the socio-economically disadvantaged groups, scheduled tribes including some primitive tribes such as Khadia, DongriaKondh, Kohls, Bhatudis, Mankidias, and other backward classes, women, and children. Our work profile includes: Micro-planning of the project villages in the participatory manner & implementation of the plans.
